Poolside

I casted 4 individuals who were looking to pursue a career in modeling. I used Instagram and posted on my story and asked mutuals if they knew of any one interested. I hired two friends to help with makeup and styling.

I found a house on Airbnb 30 min north of Seattle and booked it for a day. Since I was doing this for my own pleasure, I made sure it was OK with the owner + made simple contracts for everyone else.

My vision was pool party with primary colors for some pop. My friend who made shirts let me use his clothing in exchange for some photos. (Cherry tee!)

Denim

I casted a few friends and aspiring models for this Denim shoot. Someone I knew had designed + hand made some apparel pieces and wanted to collaborate. The designer helped with styling while I took photos.

We shot mostly on random streets in Seattle + my friends school campus courtyard which is where the architecture came in handy.

My vision was casual, laid back cool girl with a little sleek sprinkled in. My friends nailed it.

Zahara

Zaraha is an artist based in Seattle. I worked at a retail store downtown and needed someone to model new inventory. Z also wanted some photos for new music artwork.

I rented a studio space in Capitol Hill for two hours with a rate of $80/hr. All apparel and jewelry was rented from the store and I told Z to do her hair and makeup as she normally would.

I wanted these shots to be a little more creative than just headshots, incorporating Z’s bright and classy energy (she sings r&b).

Kazz

Kazz is a model signed to a couple agencies. She is a dear friend and we wanted to get creative after getting matcha in Oakland.

We walked around Lake Merritt on a gloomy day using nature + the textures of clothing to add beauty to this impromptu shoot.

I wanted these shots to inspire and build confidence both in front and behind the lens.

I brought together a group of friends with different skating abilities, skateboards + roller skates to create this video, sweetened. I chose a few different skate locations for everyone to meet up at. This video has 43k views on youtube!

Ruining Skateboarding

Two years of filming with the gayest, coolest, sweetest skateboard team: There Skateboards. A lot of contributors filmed this hour long video, and I was grateful to film a big chunk of it. Filmed mostly in the bay and new york, this project took a lot of patience, planning, therapy talks, and multiple runs at the same spot for hours long.

Skaters are rad. This was so fun.

All Love, No Hate

I worked with organizers Karlie + L. Brew alongside Nike SB on this project. I captured all the skate video footage in Chicago highlighting Black skaters, poc skaters, queer and trans skaters. This project took many zoom calls, planning, and travel logistics.
